The original Marathon SAR-D earned its reputation by doing exactly what it was built to do.

When the opportunity came to collaborate on our own version, we weren't interested in reinventing it.

We wanted to build something that was unmistakably SBWC while remaining unmistakably Marathon.

Built on the foundation of the modern OSAR-D, our version drops the date complication for a cleaner dial and draws on the colors, details, and design language that have become synonymous with this community.

Marathon Search and Rescue (SAR) watches are developed to Canadian Government requirements for use in professional SAR operations. First introduced in the early 1990s, the SAR Series continues to be an essential kit element for elite members of both the Canadian and U.S. militaries.
Submersible up to 30ATM, these tool watches are fitted with knurled, screw-down crowns; iconic unidirectional, fully hashed bezels with 60-minute countdown scales; highly legible dials outfitted with and MaraGlo luminescent material; and solid 316L stainless steel cases with media blasted finish to provide ultimate endurance above or below sea-level.
